Embedded Computing for Logistics comes to the Public Transportation Expo

Atlanta, GA – “Where innovation and technology converge” is the theme for this year’s American Public Transportation Expo, coinciding with this year’s APTA meeting, taking place at the Georgia World Congress Center from October 9th – 11th. As managers and experts from public transportation organizations & authorities meet to discuss safety, efficiency, and effectiveness, they’ll have the opportunity to meet with industry suppliers, like Estone Tech, who can provide the latest and most impressive technology to meet their innovations.

This year’s meeting is expected to focus on automation technology that can significantly improve the safety and timeliness of public transportation. From extremely advanced technology like driverless busses and self-controlled trains, to management technology like embedded panel PCs that monitor and control vehicle functions, the latest in rugged technology is already popping up in public transportation across the country, and the next wave will be omnipresent. Estone Tech is an expert in tablet and embedded smartpanel PC systems, including systems with CAN Bus connectivity to monitor and optimize vehicle systems.

The Georgia World Congress Center is part of a suite of buildings in downtown Atlanta, and provides plenty of activity opportunities for attendees. Public Transportation will be able to take attendees right next door to the Georgia Dome, or across the street to Phillips Arena and the College Football Hall of Fame. Bus lines equipped with modern logistics technology will be able to shuttle attendees to the Georgia Aquarium, the Center for Civil Rights, and to the World of Coca Cola exhibit.
